Hi All

I am trying to create screenshots of the presenter toolbar and the annotate toolbar for training purposes.

When I use snipping tool or do a screenshot, the toolbars' automatically hide.

I have looked at Use annotation while sharing your screen in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support, but this unfortunately does not show the new  Start interacting with the background Take control button in the screenshot.

Many thanks in advance.

Regards

Warren

    Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately I have tried to use the snipping tool with a delay, but this disappears as soon as the screen needs to be clipped.

    Many thanks

    Warren

    Dear Warren Sparrow1,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, I understand that you have a query "Microsoft Teams: How can I screen shot the screen sharing toolbar."

After thorough research and consulting, it has been determined that currently Teams doesn't offer a dedicated option to screenshot the screen sharing toolbar. A possible workaround is to use Snip & Sketch with Delay or Use Snipping Tool with Delay. For example, search for Snipping Tool in the Start menu and open it > click on the Delay button and set a delay (e.g., 5 seconds). This gives you time to open the toolbars in Teams then click New and quickly switch to Teams to open the toolbars. The Snipping Tool will capture the screen after the delay.

We apologize if we are not able to meet your requirements; however, thank you for bringing this to our attention, we will surely raise your concerns to our Product Team and hopefully this can be considered in the future updates.

In the meantime, you may create an entry as a feature suggestion in the Feedback Portal at Microsoft Teams · Community, Other users may vote it and make it more visible to the service team so that it may be considered for future upgrades.

For other concerns, please do not hesitate to add you post in the Microsoft Community Team.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Sharing the same issue, unfortunately your solution doesn't work. I've tested three different screen capture tools and none work, when starting a screen capture (even delayed) the Teams upper screen sharing toolbar disappears.
