Is this issue with everyone’s Apple AirPods not working with Microsoft Teams something that Microsoft does not want to fix or they can not fix? Or, can Microsoft tell us when will this be fixed?

This issue is drastically affecting our peoples ability to virtually call and conference together. We do not want to buy new headsets and earbuds to accommodate Microsoft’s issue. Thank you.

So there is a fix in terms of getting the audio through the headphones, however, you will have to use a mic on your computer if you have a laptop. Otherwise you'd need an external mic. When you go into settings, click on bluetooth & devices, and then scroll down and click more devices and printer settings. This will open up a new window displaying devices and printers. You should see here your airpods on the top row. Right click onto your airpods icon and click on properties. Then in the window that pops up, click on services. You will see 5 options displayed, uncheck the "Handsfree Telephony" option and then click apply at the bottom. This will enable you to hear audio through your airpods, however the Mic most likely will not be recognized, however your computer mic should now be the default in teams. I've tried this over and over and you may get lucky at some point and have the mic work with this option, but mostly it will only bring back your airpod audio. I hope this helps someone.

Thanks for your response. This is a known problem. With the new Teams update, Apple AirPods/AirPod Pros do not work on calls - either other on the calls can not hear anyone using the AirPods, or we can not hear the call if we are using them. There are several threads talking about this on here, but no one from Microsoft has said if they are going to fix it, or if they are able to. If you’re not familiar with the issue, you might just do a search on here, or on google, and you will likely see hundreds of people with the same level of frustration as we have - and that’s just the people who post about it.

    Thank you the fix worked.

Didn't wanted to say something in the meeting anyway...

Microsoft, this is so ridiculous. Fix this!

My AirPods were not working with Microsoft Teams. They work with everything else on the Dell Laptop but NOT teams.

Teams is super quiet for me; but everyone hear me fine

    Here is the fix :-

Connect the AirPods to the laptop. Then use the stalk slider on the AirPod to swipe the volume up until you hear a tone.

For some reason the Laptop master volume works on every application except Teams which has a secondary volume hidden which is you can only turn up by using the volume on the AirPod to turn up.

Took me hours to work this out. Hope it helps.

I think what's so frustrating is that it worked just fine before some stupid update. Now I have to juggle devices to hop on Team calls. I won't be using these types of devices on a personal basis but I'm forced to through work,
