Unfortunately, currently, Microsoft Teams does not support recording in Large Gallery View directly. When you record a meeting, the recording defaults to the active speaker or a 2x2 grid view, even if you have Large Gallery View enabled during the meeting.
We notice many other users raising need for this feature to be put in please by our product team, I suggest you share your feedback to our product team as well to increase the voting for the feature to be implemented as soon as possible.
