MS Teams mobile app does not work on wifi... I tried all ways like clearing the cache and reinstalled the app and restarted the device plenty of times. I have updated latest version of teams from playstore since then it stopped working on wifi and it works fine on mobile data. I need response from Microsoft because I am working remotely from home where network is poor and the device I am using is Moto Edge 40 Neo. I need assistance ASAP

I have the same issue, and have had it for close to a year.

I even got a new phone, and the new phone did exactly the same thing.

Tried all the solutions, and nothing works.

Sync works perfectly fine when on Mobile Data, but as soon as you turn on Wifi, no matter what Wifi it is, it will not send or receive any messages.

I have tried everything I can think of, and it simply will not work with Wifi, on 2 mobile devices, and on multiple wifi routers, same result.

Something is actually wrong with the App - I cant see how it can be anything else.

New phone: Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra

Not sure this is a solution as such, but I found if my Router has this mode ENABLED, then Teams does not sync at all.

If its DISABLED then sync functions on wifi and messages can be sent/received as you would expect.

    LAN IPv6 Mode Setup - "IPv6 Active"

Disable that in your router for LAN, and see if that makes your Teams work.

Why... I have no idea, but it is operating for me now with it disabled.

    Thank you!!

I've had this issue quite a while and couldn't figure out why, both the desktop and web version worked fine on my laptop and desktop while on my home wifi. The web version of teams worked on my phone while connected to my WiFi. But the phone app only worked while I used cellular, as soon as I connected to my WiFi I could no longer send messages or see the online status of other people (didn't try calling).

But as soon as I turned off ipv6 it started working properly
