New Teams Login Loop

Hi there,

I'm currently facing the issue, that the New Teams is not able to log me in. It's always redirecting me to the account selection window. I tried to fix the problem with the following steps but without any luck:

  • Restart the application
  • Restart my computer
  • Log me out of and back into Teams
  • Uninstall Teams + New Installation
  • Uninstall Teams and clean all cache data + New Installation
  • Using my phone's hotspot to check if the issue is caused by the firewall

Sadly none of the above tested methodes helped me out here. Has anyone a clue what I can also try to get the new Teams running?

    It's actually insane how incompetent the Identity/MS Teams developers are. This bug's been around for several quarters, many sprints. Perhaps stop hiring pajeets to do the development?

    Is there a resolution to this problem? my IT dept suggested re-imaging my computer! that is not a solution!

    Sadly no fix yet. We're also trying to prevent a new installation because we're having a lot of clients which are affected by this issue.

    I haven't contacted the Microsoft support yet because this would just simply end in a useless support loop (as usual) that's why I'm trying to figure out how to fix it by my own.

    I found a solution to this if anyone needs to know.

    If you open Windows Credential Manager and Delete the two "Web Credentials" for "teamslv" and "teamskey" then you will once again be prompted for your credentials when you next log into teams.

    The web and desktop app are both now doing this for me, an endless sign-in loop.

    This is crazy, I can't get to any of my Teams files. I am encouraging all my clients to ditch it. Its awful.
