Can't Sign into Teams Web with work account on Edge Browser

I had to erase my browser cache due to an issue I was having with another website. When I went back and tried to sign into Microsoft Teams (web) with my work account it will not let me and just keeps redirecting me to teams with my personal account.

The link I am trying to log in to is the following: https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/ I've tried signing out and signing back in using my work account and it does not work.

The only way it works is if I add a separate work profile to my browser and sign into Teams (web) that way. I don't want to do this since all my bookmarks I needed are on my personal account.

Is there a way to either fix this or stop teams from automatically redirecting me to Teams using my personal account.

I was able to finally sign into the browser version of teams. I noticed in a separate browser I weas being sent to the following URL:

https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/?clientexperience=t2After I went to that URL, the URL I was using before was working as I expected. https://teams.microsoft.com/v2I'm not sure if that helped reset something but all seems to working now as expected.

I went to https://teams.microsoft.com/v2/ in an incognito tab and I can log into Teams no problem with my work account.

I then signed out of the browser with my personal account and tried signing back into Teams with my work account, but it kept defaulting to my personal account even though the profile icon in the corner was the blank icon. I was not signed into Edge with any of my accounts.

Please let me know what else I can do or try.

I tried clearing Cookies for Teams specifically even after deleting all browser data but that did not work.

I tried signing out completely, however as long as I'm logged in with personal account it keeps reverting to that in teams. It won't even give me the option to login with a different type of Microsoft account.

I don't save credentials in my browser so this would not be an issue.

I am able to go to outlook.com in the browser and see my personal account no problem. I am able to go to outlook.office.com and see my work account without any issue. It appears that Teams is the only site I am having issues with.

I tried going through a different browser and I am able to log into teams with my work account.

This is what I see in teams:

No matter what I do it just keeps going to my personal account.

    Hello Chris Kain

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Forum community, it's our pleasure to assist you with the above query.

It's unfortunate that you are experiencing this issue, i understand you tried to log back via browser, may i inquire if you tried a separate browser other than the one having issue, please.

Under profile setting for the browser, any account added there, let's say your personal account please. Could you check below settings please

    1. Clear Cookies for Teams: Sometimes, clearing cookies specifically for the Teams website can help. You can do this by going to your browser settings, finding the cookies section, and deleting cookies for teams.microsoft.com.
    2. Sign Out Completely: Ensure that you are completely signed out of all Microsoft accounts in your browser. You can do this by going to https://account.microsoft.com and signing out from there. Then, try signing in again with your work account
    3. Remove Saved Credentials: Sometimes, saved credentials can cause issues. Go to your browser settings and remove any saved passwords or credentials for teams.microsoft.com.

Look forward to your update regarding the above suggestions.
