Hi there, the new version of Teams is not compatible with my Mac, when on video calls the video simply doesn't work and shows me as a white figure on a dark background. On every other video meeting platform, there are no issues, so this is not a problem with my Mac or camera. Please advise as this is becoming a genuine issue as a remote worker. Helen.

I have the same problem. The app doesnt work on ios, ipados or macos. I’ve tried every fix in the book but it only works via a browser (and even then it’s a nightmare getting things to work smoothly. I pay an annual subscription for something I’m unable to use.
The new Teams isn't working at all for guest users trying to use a work/school account. It puts them into a sign-in loop. I have a class of 129 people who are forced to use the browser. I don't have a valid link anymore to help them go to Teams classic. The one I was using puts them into new Teams no matter what.
We've gone through clearing the cache and making sure the OS is up to date, nothing is working.
I also can't find any threads where the Microsoft Teams product team is acknowleding this issue.

Video lags and frames drop all the time

I have the issue that the new "Teams (work or school)" totally cripples the system. Uses 108% of CPU power for a simple video call. I have a top-specced MBP 16", M1 Max in the highest config, including 32Gb of RAM.
I am logged in as a work user, New Teams is 'damaged' and old Teams will be discontinued. Super.
