Hi,

My Teams has updated this morning and I am no longer able to access Teams I am a member of, the icon has disappeared from the sidebar. I can access when using the browser version and I can temporarily get access again by deleting 'Local Cache' from \AppData\Local\Packages\MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache but Teams will update itself and overwrite this.

Teams Version:

You have Microsoft Teams version 24295.605.3225.8804. You've got the latest version. It was last checked on 20/11/2024.The client version is 49/24110115713.

    Hello,

You can return 'Teams' button back to sidebar from settings. Here is how:

Open Settings > Chats and channels then choose Separate to 'Viewing chats and channels' selection

This change caught a lot of people off guard. We created this video to help users learn the new features and how to get the Teams tile back on the left rail. Hope this helps. The New Chat and Channels Experience in Teams (Nov 2024)
