Spell check with multiple language on new teams

Hello,

With the new Microsoft teams I'm now longer able to have multiple language for the spell check which is a huge draw back compared to the legacy version.

As I'm speaking in French and in English it is a nightmare to write in English with all red underline and no spell check.

However I well configured my systems and the multiple spell checker language is working fine with Microsoft Words or PowerPoints.

Do you have a work around about that ?

Best regards,

Simon

Now this is known for quite some time.

MS knows the pain they burden to many users worldwide.
What is the outcome of this 'high priority" handling?

Yes, it has been handled with high priority for many months now. When we are lucky, we'll get the solution very quickly - maybe even within the next five years.

But sarcasm aside. Yes, I'm extremely frustrated and annoyed as well, as I use three different languages for my communication in Teams on daily basis and this very helpful feature is gone now. I wish I could use the classic teams - I was quite happy with it. But no, users are FORCED to switch to the new teams, which adds A LOT of frustration again.

    What a joke.

"The team is focusing on this issue with a high priority."

Microsoft should have fixed this issue a long time before this product went public.

unlike me the team can concentrate like no one else can, they've been focusing for months now and still are.

At least change the text or fix this issue (with a high priority)

I can only agree with the above comment. It is very frustrating to have all the read mark-ups. There have been several updates in Teams without fixing the multiple language option, so I do not see that it can be a high priority on this bug fix. It is been more than a year with this poor performance. Can it be so difficult to add a feature that was already working in a previous version. There is a lot of people in the world that do not use English as the preferred language...

Thanks for the answer. However it is a pity to have discontinued the legacy team version and forcing the people going into the new version...

This is nice to heard that it is handled with high priority however, do you know when it will be available ?
