I had the same issue and had done the removal of the AirPods, reinstall of them and Teams, etc., but was still having issues, until I stumbled across a subreddit from a few years ago. I'll post the link, but I know MSFT likes to blank URLs that aren't MSFT owned.

    URL: https://www.reddit.com/r/airpods/comments/yy5m47/airpods_pro_2nd_gen_mic_not_working_on_windows_11/

1.) Open Device Manager and uninstall any devices with a name of your AirPods in the following sections: "Audio Inputs and Outputs" / "Bluetooth" / "Sound, Video and Game Controllers"

    2.) Remove AirPods in Settings>Bluetooth & devices>Devices

    3.) Restart your computer.

4.) Reset your AirPods (Open the case and hold the button on the back until and amber light comes on and then goes white again - About 10 seconds)

5.) Pair your AirPods with your computer again

This worked flawlessly for me with a pair of AirPods Pro Gen 2 (USB) (2023). Running on Windows 11 Enterprise Version: 23H2 (Build 22631.3737)

    Hope this helps.

My airpods are fully charged and usable among other apps. In the meeting, i connected it only to my laptop and teams only, however when i clicked to change the speaker from my laptop output audio to the airpods, i hear nothing.

I have this same issue currently.

My airpod pro 2 worked fine with tasks this morning.

They show connected in teams now not no audio. Audio comes through fine on my laptop speaker when I turn my airpods off.

    They are fully charged.

Not connected to anything other device.

Works fine with other apps on my laptop.

I have the same issue. Not only will teams not allow me to hear through my airpods, it also won't allow me to hear thorugh my external bluetooth speaker. Both work with all other apps. I did not have this problem at all until just a few weeks ago. It was working beautifully before then. I can only hear Teams meetings through my laptop speaker, which I do not use as it is not loud enough.

I am having the same issue. They show as an option to connect in Teams, but when I connect to them as a speaker, there is no audio coming through. Audio comes through fine on the internal speakers.

This issue started happening only a couple of months ago - prior to that I've used the same airpods / Macbook combination for over two years.
