I have been down a bit of a rabbit hole and I am finding trouble finding updated instructions for setting up a shared voicemail for a teams phone system.
I have 3 accounts on the team/group, two team members and a main mail account for our website.
I have gotten all the way down to the last two steps but I am unable to complete them. I am still not getting shared alerts for the voicemail.

So once all these steps are complete - where will the shared voicemails show up?
I see the messages in the group in Outlook and the members of the team can see these and listen to messages. In order to be able to delete you have to be an owner of the group. My issue is that i cant find any way to manage the messages other than read/unread or delete. You cant add a flag to these messages to categorise and there is no option to add folders. We have a team who will handle these messages but need some additional options to categorise or manage the messages that require further action.

According to a post on the Microsoft Community forum, you can set up a shared voicemail for a Teams phone system by creating an Office 365 group, an auto attendant, and a call queue. Here are the steps to create an Office 365 group:
Sign into the Microsoft 365 admin center.
On the left side, click Groups.
Select “Add a group” and choose Office 365.
Hit Next, then name the group and hit Next again.
Add the owners or those who will receive the voicemail, then hit next.
Create a group email address you’ll use later on the auto attendant, directing you to voicemail.
Select create a group.
After creating an Office 365 group, you can create an auto attendant by following these steps:
Sign in to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
On the lower left side, click Show All. Under the admin centers, select Teams.
Go to first to the org-wide settings and select resource account.
Select Add and enter the required information, and take note of the email address that was created. Go to Voice and select auto attendant.
Name the auto attendant, choose no operator, select the time zone and language, then hit next.
Under call flow, you’ll select no greeting, then route the call to “redirect call”.
Choose Voice mail and look for the office group you have created.
Enable the transcription, hit submit, and then assign the resource account you created.
Go back to the Call queue, and under the call time out handling select redirect this call to voice app, choose the auto attendant, and hit save.

If you create a Microsoft 365 group to receive Teams voicemails, the voicemails should be sent to the 'Groups' section of a user's Outlook who is a member of the Microsoft 365 group you just created. That's how it works for us with our call queue exception handling.
