I use Teams on a Mac but my timezone has changed and I can't alter it...

I was told by a colleague today that my time zone on Teams has changed.

There is no way for me to change it, it's set the right timezone in my Macbook settings and within Outlook, but my timezone in Teams is set to 8 hours behind GMT.

I can find no option to change it, despite having searched for a solution online. I have restarted, logged out, restarted again. I'm pretty sure it happened recently because I've been using Teams without issue on this machine for nearly a year.

Can you advise how I can change my Teams timezone?

Thank you

Same here, though without the travel. Everything I read says Teams inherits the system's setting, but my system is correct and Teams is wrong.

I agree... what a nightmare! Outlook and my laptop are on a different time zone than team. What a counterproductive tool!

Same here. Teams does definitely not inherit the OS time zone settings (curiously Outlook does it correctly).

Thus, seems like a bug. pls fix

Temas is a nightmare if you travel through a lot of time zones like I do. There is no (obvious) way to update time zone in Teams. Currently my computer time zone and my Teams time zones are different - the computer is correct, Teams is not. I cannot find how to update Teams time zone.

Thank you Jackson, I will give that a try.

I'd already found the Outlook web version has me set up in the wrong time zone for meetings (although correct for everything else). I altered that earlier on but it hasn't quite filtered through yet, I'll give it a wee while to do so!

I've cleared my Teams cache as well!

Thanks so much for the quick response.
