Is there a way to see all plans on one schedule view?

Hello,

My Microsoft Planner recently updated, and I am unable to locate the Schedule view for all tasks/plans. I don't use this all time, but when setting up a new plan and determining its schedule, I need to look ahead to see what other tasks/plans might overlap with it.

I use Planner for web, though I also have it in Microsoft Teams and I don't see the option there any longer.

Schedule view is still an option on individual plans, but it's missing from the menu items at the top of My Tasks and My Plans views now.

Any advice would be appreciated!

I COMPLETELY AGREE! Our entire national company made Microsoft Planner a required tool to use in the manner you have described above. We use it daily to view our weekly/monthly commitments and tasks and the fact that this functionality was removed in the update is absolutely absurd! It is a key functionality that should be an option with ANY planner application and we are EXTREMELY upset that this was forced on us. It will affect our efficiency in a negative way, which may force us to use a different product altogether.

    Mountainmint, BrittanyM_86,

    I COMPLETELY AGREE TOO!
This has been a big problem now. Of course, everyone use multiple plans simultaneously. From an user point of view it would be beneficial to have a single view across plans and have a clear visibility on what comes next in the Schedule view. I thought that was the concept of Planner to enable easy task management.

I hope Microsoft will rethink and take the Schedule view on My Tasks back in the menu.

Yes. Microsoft has nerfed two critical features from Planner that make it almost useless for use in a team environment.

    1. No more Schedule View. You can no longer look at a calendar and see what tasks are scheduled for what duration. This makes it impossible to have a visual view of workload and commitments in specific projects or for an individual.
    2. No more Board view with "Assigned To Me." They have removed the ability to use a Board view when looking at all of your tasks across all projects. You can only use Board view in specific projects. You are restricted to using grid view now to see all tasks across all projects.

I've just convinced a large number of stakeholders in my organization to start using Project for scheduling tasks for group projects. They were sold on this due to how Planner had been working for years. Now, two critical features that help me get buy-in with hesitant employees are suddenly gone.

Who the heck thought it was a good idea to remove features rather than add them? Probably, we need to pay for some "Premium" version that costs more than the pay for our 365 employee accounts.

I fully believe these features were removed on purpose to push organizations into an upgraded license plan ...

    Dear User,

    Good day!!

As per the description shared, I understand your concern but I am sorry to convey that currently there is no out of the box feature or setting in the Microsoft Planner to have the schedule view either at My tasks or My Plans and currently it’s available in the individual plans of Microsoft Planner.

I agree with you on having the ability to have schedule view either at My tasks or My Plans in the Microsoft Planner will benefit the users and I suggest you to add your valuable ideas as feedback in the Planner · Community which is the best place to share our ideas and improve the Microsoft products.

Appreciate your patience and understanding. Have a great day!!

    Best Regards,

    Sophia
