Teams - Planner - "MY Tasks" View - Need "Start Date" Column

Is there going to be a way to add columns/customize the "My Tasks" view in MS Planner within Teams?

I am particularly interested in adding a sort by "Start Date" column!!!

I use the My Tasks view the most as I manage multiple projects at once, with varying durations for tasks. With hundreds of tasks, only having the ability to see when something is due and not when it needs to be started is a huge issue.

The due date is great don't get me wrong, but for tasks that take multiple days to complete seeing just the due date means I am already behind on the task.

The whole point of Planner in Teams is to have your tasks all in one place to increase efficiency when managing tasks across multiple projects and platforms. Not having the ability to Sort by "Start date", is a major flaw in the ability to effectively manage tasks.

Hello there! Agreed. I was just searching this very issue trying to figure out how to add a column to My Tasks that shows when I need to get started on them. I do hope they come up with a solution soon, as I am really enjoying the app with the exception of this issue.

    Dear CoordinatorBrooks,

Good day! Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community. We will be happy to help you.

I completely agree with your suggestions regarding the need for a "Start Date" column in the "My Tasks" view in Microsoft Planner within Teams. This feature would indeed enhance the ability to manage tasks more effectively, especially when dealing with multiple projects and tasks that span several days.

To ensure that your valuable feedback reaches the right people, I recommend submitting your suggestion through the Microsoft Feedback Portal. The development team actively reviews user feedback and considers it for future updates and improvements.

You can submit your feedback here: Microsoft: Planner Community by clicking on Send feedback.

ImageThe product development team monitors this site 24 hours a day, and customer feedback is carefully considered. This is the best way to let the team know that this is a highly coveted feature. We hope that this feature will be released in a future version of the Scheduler. I have also provided feedback on this from our end.

Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Sincerely
