Mine was working fine this morning till I updated the app through the App Store. I have an iPhone 12 for reference. I assumed it was a bug and offloaded the app but still have the same issues after redownloading. Notifications still come through the app just crashes on start up can’t even get the application to fully open.

    Hi,

What if i can’t access teams via browser on my iPhone? it says “Hmm. Your browser version isn’t supported. Quickest Solution? Download the mobile app”

However when i have the mobile up it just glitches. I open it then it closes. I originally have teams for school related but this started to happen just today, it was fine 4hours ago.

I have done all of these things the app won't open. When I click on it and just force closes. I am able to sign in on my web browser on the computer. It is just my app on my iPhone I am having issues with.

    Hello Kristina Martinez,

    Many thanks for the response.

Since the issue is just your Teams app, I suggest you clear teams' cache to remove any glitch when login.

To clear Microsoft Teams cache on iPhone or iPad:

    1. Open Settings and tap General from the menu.
    2. Tap iPhone Storage or iPad Storage on the tablet.
    3. Wait for a list of your apps to load, scroll down, and tap Teams from the list.
    4. Now, tap the Offload App option to clear cache and other temp data.
    5. Re-install and restart teams after

If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask. I'm here to help!

    Dear Kristina Martinez,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you!

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with Microsoft Teams on your iPhone. We received many threads on this issue and we already reported to Microsoft for further investigation; In the meanwhile we can try some basic troubleshooting steps to makes sure everything is fine on your end:

    • Is it the work/school account affected right! or its teams personal account having issue.
    • Secondly could you please share with us the full error detail you get when you try to login your teams on the iPhone please, it will help us narrow down the issue.
    • May I know if you are able to log into teams on a desktop or laptop browser at https://teams.microsoft.com/? Just to make sure there's no issue with the account itself.

If you notice you can access teams via browser on your iPhone, then the issue could be with your Teams app.

    1. Sometimes a simple restart can fix the problem. Press and hold the power button until the “slide to power off” slider appears. Slide it to turn off your iPhone, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.
    2. Have you tried Offloading the App? This can help clear the app's cache without deleting your data. Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage. Find the Teams app and tap on it, then select Offload App. After that, reinstall the app. See Teams not working on iPhone | Microsoft Community Hub. If offloading doesn't work, try deleting the app completely and reinstalling it from the App Store.
    3. Have you checked to ensure that both your iOS and the Teams app are up to date. Go to the App Store and check if there's an update available for Teams.
    4. Have you checked to make sure Teams has the necessary permissions. Go to Settings > Teams and ensure all relevant permissions are enabled.
    5. If your iPhone is managed by your organization's IT department, they might have specific settings or restrictions in place. It's a good idea to reach out to them for assistance.

We will be on standby for your update to further assist if issue persist. Please let us know and we can explore other options. Please note that our initial response does not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can find a solution together. Thank you for your help.
