I understand that you're experiencing an issue where the Microsoft Teams desktop app does not open or appear in the taskbar. You've already taken several steps, including clearing the cache, reinstalling the application, and attempting to launch the .exe installer, but the problem persists.
To help better understand the situation, could you please confirm the following:
- Are you seeing any error messages at all when attempting to launch Teams?
- Does the Teams process appear in Task Manager after attempting to open it?
- Have there been any recent Windows updates or system changes prior to this issue?
In the meantime, try the following:
- End Teams Processes: Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift +Esc) and end any Microsoft Teams processes.
- Run as Admin: Run Microsoft Teams as an Administrator Privileges (Right click>Run as Adminstrator
- Use Web Version: Visit Microsoft Teams for temporary access.
