Microsoft Teams Status Stuck on 'Available, Out of Office' and unable to reset

The status icon is stuck on 'Available, Out of Office' and if I reset, nothing happens, if I enter a meeting it says 'Out of office, in a meeting' and if try to directly select other statuses it will not change.

I have tried logging into Teams via browser, restarting the device, searching 'Get Help but there is nothing, and downloading a Microsoft Troubleshooter but this was no longer an active resource.

I have no meetings in my diary which would cause this, and I have switched off my work phone to avoid any sync issues.

Regarding this issue an affected customer was able to resolve this by checking the meeting invites in their calendar, and removing the ones which did not leave the status field as 'Free'

There is three ways to turn it off the teams status:

1- Please go to your teams , near from your profile click on three dots << setting << General << under Out of office click on schedule and turn off the automatic replies and save and check the issue

2- If there is nothing setting over there, kindly go to your outlook desktop the classic one with the same affected account and check if there is automatic replies turn on if yes turn it off. Kindly go to your classic outlook File << Automatic Replies (out of Office ) and click turn off and check your status

3- If the issue still persist and you didn't find anything in your classic outlook , you need to turn off the automatic replies via your admin center for the affected account.
