How increase the number of characters in the subject line when composing emails.

Original title: Is there a way to delete the Categories "column".  I am trying to increase the number of characters in the subject line in my inbox.

Since I was hijacked into Outlook.com from Hotmail, the number of characters in the subject line have been so reduced as to be useless.  Also how do you reduce the font size of the subject line (I am not talking about the font size within the email.)

Also, where is the "cut and paste" function in Outlook?

Thank you, Mary D

    Hi Mary55ee,

I sincerely apologize for not being able to answer your concern in a timely manner. We are currently experiencing high volume of inquiries. I understand that you have trouble using the new Outlook interface especially when composing an email. Let me help you with that.

With the current design of Outlook, the option to change the font size in the subject line is still not available. I also simulate your concern and I found out that the maximum character that you can type into the subject line is 1023. You can also use "Copy", "Cut" and "Paste" options in Outlook. Just right click in the message and then select "Copy", "Cut" or "Paste".

If you have other concern regarding the new Outlook interface, don't hesitate to inform us and we are happy to assist you.

    Thank you.
