    Hi dbtravels,

You're asking if there's a way to pin the Outlook.com icon to the Start Menu. This can be a yes nor a no.

First off, Outlook.com is a browser based email service. It doesn't come with an official program icon that can be clicked on since you have to access it using a web browser.

What you can do is create a shortcut icon for Outlook.com instead then place this shortcut icon to your Start Menu.

Simply go to Outlook.com then drag that little icon before the https:// on your browser to your desktop. This creates a shortcut link to Outlook.com. You may drag this shortcut link to your preferred location. We could have given you a more precise instruction but we do not have your Operating System information. You just said Sony.

A better approach is to use Windows Live Mail. It has a program icon which you can stick on the Start Menu, Desktop, Taskbar, etc.,

Should you need further assistance, please let us know.

    Thank you.

That don't solve my problem. I have 7 different e-mail address's for  my different business accounts. What I am trying to do is be able to keep them all open without having to close out each outlook.com e-mail address to open a new one. It is a big pain in the butt. But Thanks for your feedback.

    Hello tswolk,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

In addition to MVP Brian's post, you can also access your another account by using another browser. For example login your primary account using Internet Explorer browser and your other account using (Google, Firefox or Safari) browser.

    Hope this helps!

Open a new InPrivate browser window and log into another account.

I want to be able to switch from one e-mail account to another without having to close out my current one everytime. (Like it has on the surface page at the bottom.) I have 7 outlook.com e-mail accounts and this is a pain in the ****. Ready to move somewhere else.
