I see this  message when I try to open "People."

This page is temporarily unavailable

We're sorry, there was a problem showing this page. We experienced some technical difficulties retrieving the content.

It has been more than 24 hours with no access to my contacts. The contacts will not pop up into an email either. My calendar birthdays have disappeared and I cannot add them in again.  I see this when I try to add the birthdays.

Server validation error

We weren't able to update this contact’s birthday. Please try again later.

    Hi Marco

This is obviously a much larger issue, which is being reported in several different conversations such as this; http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook\_com/forum/opeople-oother/people-contacts-not-working/6d343aee-abb8-487c-8bed-c864dc7bc693

I have tried clearing the cache but this is not the solution. The problem has appeared very recently and happens in the same way when I use different machines and different browsers.

There is obviously an internal problem at Outlook which needs to be addresses quickly.

Please can you update us when this has been done.

    Many thanks.

    Hi KimEF,

We appreciate your time posting in Microsoft Community and we understand your frustration regarding this matter. It seems like that you are getting an error message when you try to open "People."

Sometimes, you might experience some error while viewing or navigating certain websites because the web browser stores old cached files, this could cause websites to stop functioning properly. Clearing the cache will prompt your browser to download the latest files from the server and allow it to work properly again. We would like you to clear your browser's cache. Please follow this link and choose your browser accordingly.

In addition, we would also like you to use another browser to isolate if this is an account or browser issue.

We ask that you take your time to try the suggestion and let us know the results at your earliest convenience. If anything is unclear or if there is anything we can do for you, feel free to let us know.

    Thanks!
