how do i access my calendar on outlook?

now that i am on outlook, previously on windows live hotmail, I can no longer find my calendar. How do you access it?

    To get to your calendar, select the down arrow next to Outlook on the top left hand side of the page. This should show you a Calendar tile. Click on the to go to your calendar. Note that the Calendar doesn't look like the new outlook.com, but more like the old Hotmail calendar.

    Mine doesn't have a down arrow.  It says MSN.  What am I missing?

    So I can't access it from the Windows 8.1 app?  The description in the Store says "Mail, calendar and people".  I'm not familiar with Exchange.  Do I have to have another account or something?  I opened your link in my browser and thought I might see a way to view it as a app but there is nothing there about it.  Maybe this is just another infuriating thing about Windows 8.  I told my mother I now understand how frustrating it is to be so bewildered by a computer.
