What are bay179.afx.ms and bay179.mail.live.com ?

My brother is on mac, and when he goes to Outlook.com, it re-routes to bay179.mail.live.com. For some reason, none of the buttons work, and he's scared that it's a scam site. I've read up on it, but I couldn't find anything helpful. The only thing I could find was the fact that apparently there are multiple bay###.mail.live.com 's. I would think bay179.afx.ms would be safe, considering .ms would probably refer to .microsoft. Does anyone have any information? My brother is kinda freaking out. Thanks!

    Hi,

I have an account [removed for privacy], recently you sent a code to one of my other accounts -[removed for privacy]. However, I have stopped to use that account since 7years because I relocated from Quebec city to Ottawa. Please send the code again to my Yahoo account [removed for privacy] or my 2nd Hotmail account [removed for privacy].

Thank you very much in advance.

    Sincerely,

    [removed for privacy]
