How do I force an immediate update of the Global Address Book in Outlook 2016 Mac

When changes are made to contacts on the server, those changes are not immediately visible in Outlook.

In Outlook 2013 for Windows, I can force it to download a new copy of our Global Address Book like so:

  1. Select the Send/Receive tab on the Ribbon.
  2. Click Send/Receive Groups and then click Download Address Book.
  3. Click OK.

How do I accomplish this in Outlook 2016 for Mac?

Are you saying that because you're 100% certain the feature I want simply doesn't exist in the Mac version?

I've been holding out hope that it's in here, somewhere, and I just haven't found it it.

I work for a large enterprise, and it's not unusual to have new people added every day, and its the nature of my job that I often need to communicate with those new hires.

Well, I suppose I can always go back to using OS X Contacts, which doesn't seem to have this problem.

I don't mean that I manually add them to OS X Contacts. It's not necessary -- OS X Contacts natively supports connectivity with our Exchange server.  So if someone else adds a new hire to Exchange, it's visible instantly in OS X contacts.

It's as if Apple made a better Exchange client than Microsoft.

(Apple's Calendar app and Mail app also work as Exchange clients.)

So, if you add those contacts to OS X Contacts instead of to Outlook, they automatically update? Kinda annoying to have them in 2 different places, I must say. But they do sync into Outlook it seems?
