    "Read carefully....."

Wrong answer.   The question was how to delete an Outlook email account; not how to close an Microsoft account.

Microsoft Account Support claim they are not allowed to access user accounts.  Account holders must follow the prompts to 'Close account'.

Unfortunately, Microsoft execs are off the hook (too much money) & taking everyone for a wild ride.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your response.

Outlook is just another domain which is a part of your Microsoft account to login to your account for example: @Hotmail.com, @outlook.com, @live.com etc.. When you say Outlook email account, you mean email account which is a part of your Microsoft account. Therefore, when you say delete Outlook email account, this means to deactivate your Microsoft Account.

    Regards,

    Jesinta Rozario
