Stop showing contact pictures in Outlook for Mac 2016

Recently upgraded to Office 2016 for Mac. Each email message received includes a colorful circle in the message header with the initials of the sender. If the sender has a picture in their contacts then it displays their contact photo. I would like to format the messages both in preview pane and when open to remove this new feature.

    For those that are frustrated in trying to get rid of the colored dots in Office 2016 Contacts/Email, you can't. Here is the answer from Microsoft:

    I understand however the dots are actually a system design so we may not able to modify them . In this case, we can send a feedback to our Engineer for this to be changed on the next updates.

    There is no reason what-so-ever that I need to have a green circle the MC in it to tell me that this email is from Microsoft Community. Need way to hide these and contact pictures. Thanks
