even though "no automatic filtering" is selected, email still gets diverted to the junk email folder.

Only seems to be from the outlook client. 32 bit and 64 bit. Doesn't matter.  OWA is not moving the emails, just outlook client. Running against Exchange 2010.

That's not a solution. That's not even a work-around.  There's no way for me to predict who is going to send me an email. Therefore, I cannot place those domains or senders on a safe list before they email me.

I'm not asking that it identify all junk email correctly, what I'm asking is that Outlook do what it's told to do.

Let me put it this way:

When you select "No Automatic Filtering", and there are no entries on the "blocked senders" list, wouldn't you expect that no emails would go into the junk folder?

We have emails going into the Junk folder, even when we've told Outlook not to filter.

From the responses I've received over that last couple weeks regarding this issue, I feel as if you are not understanding what the issue is.  This is very frustrating.

This is NOT on a Mac. It's on a Dell PC running windows 7 Pro, that has all Windows & Microsoft updates/patches installed.

All rules were exported, and then deleted as a troubleshooting step. It did not change the results.

In addition, the only way I've been able to get Outlook to stop moving emails to the junk folder, was to disable the Junk Filter via a Registry key.

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\office\15.0\outlook

    DWORD: DisableAntiSpam

Value of 1 disables the junk filter, 0 enables it

However, this is merely a work around, and NOT a solution.  We'd like to find an actual solution to outlook moving emails to the junk folder when we have selected 'No automatic filtering'.

I'll have a full response tomorrow, as i've been away for the Memorial Day holiday.  I can tell you however, that we have never had any group policy objects created for Outlook. It's a small office with under 10 computers.  Very little has ever been done with group policy.

    1. Exchange
    2. Let's start with both Outlook and OWA closed.  If I open OWA, I see that I have 15 new emails in the inbox and Zero in the Junk Folder. Now I close OWA. Log back into OWA and I still have 15 new emails in the inbox and Zero in the junk folder.

Next,  I open Outlook, and out of those 15 emails, it will decide that some are junk and move them to the junk folder (even though i have it selected to NOT move any emails to the junk folder).

For arguments sake, lets say it moved 4 of the 15 to the Junk Folder. If I then log into OWA it also shows that those 4 are now in the Junk Folder leaving 11 in the inbox.

Why is it moving any to the junk folder at all?  I've told it NOT to move anything to the junk folder.
