ICS calendar import - How do I remove an ICS file imported to Calendar to revert to a clean slate. The only thing I can find to do is deleting each daily entry individually :(    I imported a previously downloaded .ics file but now wish I hadn't and want to return to a blank calendar.

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query. For us to better assist you, please answer the question below:

    • Did you import the .ICS file item into your main calendar or open it as a calendar?

Here's the steps on how to remove the .ICS file on your calendar:

    1. If you opened it as a calendar, the .ICS file should be listed in FILE > Account Settings > Internet Calendars. You can delete it from there.

Let us know how it goes.

If the .ICS is not showing on FILE option, then we suggest that you check this article and refer to Raju S Das's reply on the thread that was found helpful by other community members. the article provided contains the same issue with deleting the .ICS file. Let us know how it goes.

Thank you! Don't know if the .ics file is gone, but under 'list view' I was able to select and delete all the entries w/ 2 clicks!

    Bill

Thanks, Ryan, new to using the Outlook calendar - been using Google & iOS, so it's a bit of a learning curve trying to blend/combine to find a consistent calendar accessible across all devices. Apparently I imported the 'liturgical calendar.ics' and saved as my main calendar thinking all calendars would show, color-coded, in a single frame. There is nothing listed in FILE > Account Settings > Internet Calendars.

    Thanks again,

    Bill

Good to hear that you were able to delete all the entries. Just to make sure can you check if there's still a trace of the .ICS file? Let us know if the issue still persist.
