Migrating BCM to OCM 365

Hello, my company is going to Office 365 version E3. But we have a couple of users who use Outlook 2010 because they need to use BCM 2010 on a server. I understand Office 365 Business Premium Plan comes with OCM.

My question being, how to migrate all the data from BCM 2010 to the new OCM 365. Is there a migration tool included with the new OCM 365 version or would a third party migration tool work to get all the data migrated over. I thank you in advance for help with this is greatly appreciated!! Have a good day.

Hi Netmn,

If you have an existing Business Contact Manager file from Outlook 2013 or Outlook 2010, you can import that directly into Outlook Customer Manager. For more detailed information, please refer to the article: Import data to Outlook Customer Manager

Best regards,

Shyamal

thank you Shaymal. i read the blog " Best practices for importing contact with Outlook Customer Manager". all I found is information on importing BCM contacts and BCM acccounts in OCM. i have 8 years of business projects and opportunities that need to be migrated to OCM. there is no mention how to migrate historical activity to OCM. is there a migration tool for this?

    thanks,

    Michael

    Shaymal,

the instructions in "Import data to Outlook Customer Manager" discuss importing date from a csv file to OCM. i dont see how that imports all the BCM data for all the fields and data. our BCM database is 1.5 GB of 8 years of history with over 5000 contacts. how do we get all the BCM data into a csv file to import to OCM?

    thanks,

    Michael
