I have noticed outlook freeze a few times a week.
I will be tracking the times and dates to see if the freeze happens at the same time the sync errors are time stampted?

Hi Tracy,
Thanks for the reply.
Please try the step I mentioned at the first reply about re-downloading the data file from server.
If the issue persists, please also create a new profile to try again since it is a sync issue.
Hope the above information helpful.

Rudy

Thanks for following up, Yes deleting the outlook user profile and letting it recreate itself was the answer that worked for us.
thanks again.
Hi Tracy,
I'd like to confirm if your account is connected to the Exchange server and you are able to receive and send emails. If so, please be informed that in most cases, these errors are logged in the Sync Issues folder when the items no longer exist in the Exchange mailbox. In these cases, the error can be safely ignored.
First, please upgrade Outlook to the latest version to enjoy the functionality improvement. And you can also clear the cache in Outlook for Mac via the link below to check if the issue can be fixed.
Thanks,
Lance
Thanks for the reply about this issue.
Yes, my Windows 10 64bit fully patched surface 4 pro is connected to our O365 cloud based off premise server and email is flowing to my profile as well as 3 other profiles I have setup.
I currently running outlook 2016 that is fully patched and up to date.
I will try clearing the cache in outlook.
Thanks,

Meanwhile, have you turned on the Exchange Cache Mode? If so, please exit the Outlook > navigate to the location of your Office 365 account data file which is the .ost file > move this file to another place, like Desktop > restart Outlook to resync the data to check if the issue persists.
