Outlook App and watch face for Wear OS not syncing emails or calendar from phone

For a while I was using the Outlook app for Android Wear and the corresponding watch face that shows calendar events. Lately the Outlook app on my Wear OS device is not syncing emails or calendar events, and calendar events are not showing on the watch face. When I go to the app it reads "All caught up. Enjoy your day!" for email and shows "No Events" for the calendar even though I have both in the Outlook app on my phone.

My setup:

Phone: Oneplus 5T (OxygenOS 5.1.5, Android 8.1.0), Outlook app (2.2.219), Office 365 for Business account syncing just fine to the phone, both email and calendar.

Watch: Skagen Falster 2 with Wear OS 2.0 installed. Showing connected to the phone via Bluetooth and on wifi (able to get to the Play store on the watch). Getting notifications just fine.

Things I've tried (multiple times):

  • Restarting the watch and phone
  • Uninstalling/Reinstalling the Outlook app on phone and watch
  • Removing/Adding Outlook account from phone

Any help appreciated!

    Thanks for your quick reply and clarification. I suggest contact our build-in support via Outlook->Settings->Help & feedback->Contact support on phone to submit a ticket for assistance.

    Are those sub forums within the Microsoft support community or on other sites? I think this is a problem with the Outlook app on Wear OS, not the watch itself (have the same issue on Huawei Watch 1 and the Falster 2).

    Hi JasonTiefel,

    According to your description, the calendar events is OK on your Outlook for Android, but there is no related notification of the events on your Wear OS device Skagen Falster. It indicates that your Office 365 account works fine, and there is something wrong with your Wear OS device when syncing data from your phone.

    As we focus on Exchange Online support here, we suggest  that contact the Wear OS device or Outlook for Android Wear support for further assistance.
