Mail days to sync problem

We're using Office 365 as email provider. Mail days to sync function is set to No Limit option currently on our iPhones. Some of the users has performance issues while accessing emails.

I'm considering to change the No Limit to 1 week. When I do that, can I still reaching my old emails by searching them?

    I've limit mine with 1 day yesterday to try. I'm gonna check it later today. We're using Apple's Mail app as client. But it's good to know that there's an option to reach support inside the Outlook app.

    Thanks for your post in forum. Regarding your question about change the No Limit to 1 week. When I do that, can I still reaching my old emails by searching them? Yes, I can search old emails. Based on my test result in iPhone, when i changed limit in setting option in iPhone from no limit to 1 week, after that I can search old emails.
