Microsoft Outlook - Calendar Icons

Dear Sirs

Please help.

Recently, when I log onto my Outlook account (calendar) and create a new event, it places an icon before the event time.

For example; when I create a calendar event for a Doctors Appointment, it places a 'First Aid' icon before the event time on the calendar.  WHY? How can I get rid of this icon and stop other such icons appearing?

Thank you all in advance.

This is done automatically depending on the words that you're typing. If you don't want them, just click the icon and select "no icon" when you're editing the calendar entry.

Thank you.  That's done the trick.

However, I feel that this should be a function to which one must opt in, not opt out.

Thank you once again for your assistance.

That's true. I think that this new version of Outlook is not very user friendly.
