Do you mean to set up your Office 365 account manually? If so, there’s no need to set up your account manually with Microsoft Exchange, because the auto-discover feature will acquire configuration for your Exchange account. i use office 365 and i read somewhere it is not possible to setup using exchange.

You can't "manually" configure an Exchange account with Office (Outlook) 365. An Exchange account can only be configured using "auto-discover" (you enter your email address/password). If that doesn't work, you need to contact your Exchange admin and ask him/her to configure the Exchange server accordingly.
