Data collection rule with immutable Id not found when using Custom Logs API

I am trying to follow the tutorial on sending the data to the Log Analytics workspace using the Custom Logs API. I have followed the tutorial, but when I send the data using the script given in the tutorial, it shows an error "Data collection rule with immutable Id 'dcr-xxxxxxxxxx' not found.", where 'dcr-xxxxxxxxxx' is the immutable ID for my data collection rule.

The data collection rule exists with the same immutable ID, but still the API says not found and returns a 404 Not Found.

    Hello,

Has anybody found a solution to this issue as I have the exact same error message and also tried to follow the tutorial on the Custom API Logs. This seems to be still an issue regardless of the feature not being in preview anymore.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thansk in advance.
