Download Outlook 2016

I purchased a new Surface and downloaded Office from Office 365 website. I had Office 2016 on my old device, but now only Office 2019 is available for download. Outlook 2019 is not compatible with my version of Exchange 2010, so I need Outlook 2016.

Where can I download the Outlook 2016 installer? or even the entire Office 2016 installer?

That link does not allow me to log in with an Office 365 account.

Just realized that there were two comments and noticed the first one.

In reference to not being able to log in with your MS account, which link exactly are you referring to? (please provide the exact URL(s) and steps you followed) Also, are you logging in with the same MS Account used when you purchased Office '2016?

Unfortunately, issues related to "logging in to your account" can only be addressed by MS.

As for the rest, if you can't connect to your EX server using '2019 - please provide any error messages encountered and confirm that <auto-discover> is properly configured on the server since that's required to connect to any EX account - manual configuration options are no longer available.

Good to know Outlook 2019 will support Exchange 2010.

I have tried connecting this version of Outlook to the 2010 Server and it will not auto-configure. I have tried on the network and off. Could be the certificate. Who knows. Have to look into it further. thanks for your help.

I have spoken to two Microsoft agents. Both agents are telling me that Outlook 2019 is not supported by Exchange 2010.

    <<

Can't speak to what you were told by the MS agents. The following is the info I was provided by my contact on the Outlook team:

"Forgot to mention that Outlook 2019 still supports Exchange 2010. I asked about this recently and the Outlook Team has not discussed not supporting it or blocking per the normal n-2. "

So the first question becomes - have you even tried connecting to your '2010 server or just assuming that it won't? (I tend to trust the info rec'd from the Outlook team far more then anything from an MS Agent).

As for the download info, have already provided the URL for the '2016 download along with the corrected "services" link - have you tried this? Keep saying this but I don't have an account for a '2016 perpetual license to test this otherwise I would.

But to clarify something, Office 2016 is no longer available for purchase from Microsoft in the event I misunderstood the original post (I took that to mean you want to re-install '2016 using a license previously purchased).

Correct. I have an Office 365 subscription and do not have an Office 2016 license. I was using Office 2016 on my old machine and want to use it on my new machine, but bad timing, only 2019 is available and 2016 is gone.

Microsoft should allow us to download previous versions for compatibility like Adobe does. For perpetual license users we can download previous versions of Photoshop or Illustrator in case the latest version isn't compatible with the latest OS. In this case, Office 2019 is not compatible with Exchange 2010 and now I'm screwed.
