Resizing Image to be stored as signature

When inserting an image into an individual email, the email can be resized manually, and quite well. This means outlook.com is equipped for this task.

However, if you'd like your signature to have a picture like a logo (probably the #! reason why people wold have an image in a signature) outlook.com doesn't allow you to resize the image.

Sounds like a simple error to fix since resizing is already available....

Am I missing something?

    Dear DehydratesInc

As I already explained, you can paste the picture to your signature but you cannot resize it when you have Microsoft account without Office 365 subscription. In order to get the best result you can paste it to a newly composed email and send it to yourself. If that size is what you want you can use the suggested method and paste it to your signature and try to compose new email. If the size is too big or small , make the changes until you fill find the appropriate size and than paste it to your signature that will be permanent. It is a bit of a hustle but that's the workaround if you do not want to buy Office 365 subscription.

When I copied and pasted an image to the compose and reply section of settings it doesn't let me resize at all. When I paste into an individual email, it allows me to resize, but that's not helpful since the point of having a signature is that you don't have to adjust/insert each time...

    Dear DEHYDRATESINC

I am an independent advisor, and I am trying to help other users in Community with my experience in Microsoft products.

If you want to have the image in signature and to be able to resize it, you need to have Office 365 to unblock this feature or use a workaround.

In order to get an image to the signature it is enough to copy/paste the image to the signature box https://outlook.live.com/mail/options/mail/mess... I just have checked this and changed my image and it works. More about signatures you will find here https://support.office.com/en-us/article/create...

If you cannot paste it, then it might be a browser issue. Try to use another browser, and In Private mode. Sometimes extensions or cookies can block authorization. It is also recommended to clear cache and cookies from time to time. In this article you will find the way how to delete the cache and cookies for most of the browsers https://www.wikihow.com/Delete-Tracking-Cookies

As I understand you are referring to new UI of Outlook. I would also suggest to use this help to get familiar with all the features https://support.office.com/en-us/article/get-he...
