How to remove "charms" from outlook ios calendar?

I am running the outlook app (version 4.16.1) on my iphone (iphone X, version 13.3).

Every time I add an event to my calendar (e.g. Dinner with Sally), my outlook will add a little charm or emoji next to it (in this case, a little knife and fork emoji representing "dinner").

I hate these emojis- they make my calendar look cluttered and less professional. I find them completely useless.

Can anyone recommend a way to make them go away please?

Thanks!

    Hi there,

I'm an Independent Advisor here to help you out,

I also have wondered the same thing, and searched for a way to remove them. Unfortunately there isn't a way to remove them at the moment.

There is however a feedback item opened on the Outlook uservoice where other people have voted for and expressed the exact same sort of dissatisfaction as you did - the best thing for you to do at the moment would be to upvote this suggestion here - https://outlook.uservoice.com/forums/284136-out...

I have also done the same, hopefully it will get some traction. It's the best way to get your feedback and comments heard by the development team.

I wish I could give you what you were looking for, but I hope this explains it a little more!

    Thanks,

    Nick
