No Outlook notifications on macOS

Hello,

I have Outlook 16.29 installed on my macOS Mojave.

I'm using Outlook in Fullscreen, I never minimize or close it.

No I have the problem, that I get almost never (sometimes it works) a notification, when I have outlook open, but in the background.

It is more worst, when I have open a different folder in Outlook, then I get no notifications, if I get an email into the other folders.

Is there even a solution for my problem?

I already activated notifications on my Mac for Outlook and I activated notifications in Outlook itself.

I had the same issue with Catalina. You can try the following as this is what worked for me:

    1. Quit Outlook
    2. Under System Preferences, click on Notifications and find Outlook.
    3. Click the delete key. This will delete notifications for Outlook.
    4. Launch Outlook
    5. Select Allow under the notifications permission that pops up on the top right.

Notifications preferences are in Mac OS System preferences. Set them there.

If you never shutdown your device, or close programs you will have problems

    That is patently not true.

Thank you so much! I have been fighting this problem since Catalina 10.15.1 and have searched high and low for this. This completely solved my issue. KUDOS!

    Hi,

I don't have any notification permission that pops up when I relaunch Outlook.

Do you have any ideas ?

    Thank you
