Where is Mailbox Clean Up in new version of Outlook online?

Hi,

We are Office 365 business customers. Microsoft has now forced everyone to switch to the new outlook webmail for Office 365. My mailbox is full. When I go to settings I can no longer find the Mailbox Clean Up feature that allows you to clear out folders.

Where has this gone?

Outlook | Windows | Classic Outlook for Windows | For home

    Login to https://portal.office.com - Top right click your icon and select "My Account". In here in the top right again click the cog, then down at the bottom under "Your app settings" select "Mail".

    Now, you will see the previous Owa Version where you can use the cleanup option.

    As workaround you can use this link also:

    https://outlook.office365.com/owa/?path=/option...

    Hello,

    I found a workaround. If you are using the old version view, you can open the settings properly.

    1. Use this link to log in to mailbox: https://outlook.office365.com/owa/?path=/classic
    2. Choose the cog at the top
    3. Click  MAIL
    4. Now you can cleanup your mailbox.

    @Microsoft: Please fix the problem.

    As of last week, the workarounds previously discussed in this thread no longer function - to continue to reach the Clean up mailbox option, please use the following steps:

    1. Navigate to https://outlook.office365.com/owa/?path=/classic
    2. Select the cog and search for "mail"
    3. Select the Mail link under Your app settings
    4. This brings you to the classic settings page for OWA and the Clean up mailbox option is still available.

    * Note: You MUST navigate to https://outlook.office365.com/owa/?path=/classic and search from there as navigating to https://outlook.office.com does NOT have the same search behavior and the Mail option doesn't appear after searching for "mail" - this is because the "Try the new Outlook" option is no longer available and it defaults to Modern unless you navigate specifically to the classic view.

    I am having the same problem, but when I go to the portal --> My Account, there is no "cog" on the screen. How do I access mailbox cleanup?? Apparently I am no longer able to send emails from the Outlook app...
