Microsoft has been spamming me with unusual activity emails

This started in the beginning of April when I got an email of unusual activity and sure enough there was a sign in attempt from Ecuador. However, since then I've been getting an email a day from Microsoft about unusual activity but on the recent activity page there's nothing out of the ordinary. I don't want to block the emails in case my account somehow gets compromised but on the other hand I hate to keep getting spammed for no reason. What should I do?

BTW: I realize there are phishing scams that use the unusual activity email to try to get your credentials, but 100% of these emails have been from Microsoft and direct to the real site.

Also IDK what category to put this under so it's going under viruses for now, LMK if there's a better category.

Can you confirm what email address you are receiving these notifications from?

It may be that these notifications you are receiving are not legitimate but appear to be. Can you hover over any of the links in the emails and see where they are redirecting you to?

Login attempts from other countries are visible to the account user. Go to https://account.live.com/Activity and you'll see your current session and location. The first time I got an unusual activity notice there was another row there with an unsuccessful login attempt from Ecuador. This email was justified- someone from Ecuador tried and failed to login to my Microsoft account. However, I continue to get emails daily from Microsoft saying there's unusual account activity despite no unusual activity being shown on the account activity page. What's up with that?

Can I ask why you think there hasn't been any unusual activity on your account?

If this is an Office or Microsoft 365 account, Microsoft may be detecting suspicious activity on your account for example...you are based in the UK and logging into your account and there are attempts to login in to your account in another country. These types of attempts wouldn't be visible to you.

The article does not answer my question. The real question is why is Microsoft sending me unusual account activity when there is no unusual account activity?
