The search bar in outlook has moved to the top is not intuitive at all and is in an odd location. How do i relocate it to the old spot, right above the email previews?

    Not quite, maybe this clarifies...

I use the search bar extensively, and would like the old location back.

    Hello Jen

Same issue as ryanhendrickson1, search bar on the top and no "Coming Soon" box found. I tried your last suggestion but it also didn't work.

    Is there any other solution?

    thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply. Another option you can try is to pin the Search tab so that it’s permanently accessible and accessing that instead of the search bar:

    1. Right click on the Outlook ribbon.
    2. Select Customize the Ribbon.
    3. Select Home (Mail) located in the list on the right-hand side.
    4. In the Choose commands from the list on the left side, select All Tabs.
    5. Under Search Tools, select Search.
    6. Between the two lists, click Add to move Search from the left list to the right list.
    7. Click OK to finish.

    Hope this helps.
