What are the requirements for a password in Outlook?
I'm trying to set a new one and I want to generate it with a tool, but I don't know the maximum possible length of the password.
Again, all of this happens in Outlook (not Windows, not Office, not any other Microsoft environment).
What are the minimum and maximum possible lengths for a password?
What character sets are allowed in a password?
What character sets are disallowed in a password?
Are there other requirements for a password?

Microsoft Account password requirements:
Passwords must have at least 8 characters
Passwords must contain at least two of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols
Password can’t contain the part of your email address that comes before the @ sign (existing requirement)

I also wanted to know the MAXIMUM length for a password.
Is the password limited to 32 characters? 48? 64? 72? And so on.

My understanding is that MSA passwords are limited to 16 characters max. However when I tried changing my Microsoft account password I was able to create more than hundred characters. It would be best if you're going to verify this directly with Microsoft.
