How to remove Samsung Account from my Microsoft Account?

I have tried everything to remove the account linkage through Securty -> Additional Security Options and then "Remove" at the Samsung Account, however, it is still not being removed. No errors, no feedback, nothing.

I have tried removing it from the Samsung Account website and, as per Samsung, it is removed (hence I proceeded to delete that account due to Security Issues that kept me from managing my own account).

Also, I've tried to reach chat support and phone support but neither of them were able to help me. The only thing I was able to scrap from them was a ticket number 1498509800 and the advise to pledge for answers through here.

Please, this is getting frustrating since I'm unable to perform anything and no one seems to know what to do.

This is the page where I'm trying to remove the account but, even after clicking on "Remove" and confirming I want to remove that account, it just stills linked.

I was able to get this to work, I logged into my Microsoft account on an incognito page on my laptop then followed the steps above.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi All,

    I had the same problem, all I did was;

    1. logout of my Microsoft account
    2. login to my Samsung account
    3. unlink Samsung to Microsoft
    4. log back in to Microsoft

Samsung was removed from Microsoft so I could set it up again.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Cerkute,

Unfortunately, no, they have not solved my issue yet, however, I manage myself (through a lot of calls and fight through a lot of departments) to escalate my case to the Privacy department (since it seems to be a privacy issue). I highly recommend you to give them a call and provide them my ticket number, 1498509800, to let them know that you are experiencing the same issue. Also, try to tell them that you need the issue to be escalated both with the Accounts and Billing (tell them that you need this to be escalated to a higher support like an Advocate) and to the Privacy department.

    I hope this helps you.

It is worth to mention that I've tried to follow the only article I was able to found related to this request. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4522425/samsung-microsoft-onedrive-and-your-privacy.

As you can see, that's the same steps that I've tried to accomplish.
