How can I disable birthday notifications?

I'm getting sick of birthday notifications triggering at 6am the day before a contact's birthday.

Don't see any option to disable them, beyond disabling the whole birthdays calendar or disabling all notifications at all... which is not what I'm looking for.

I just want the notifications for the birthday calendar to go away. Something so simple...

    Hi Elemenophy,

Upon checking on the outlook settings, there is no option to Turn off all birthday notifications in your calendar; instead, you need to turn off one by one. However, you can remove all birthdays in your calendar this will also remove all birthday reminders by turning off your birthday calendar.

To turn off your birthday calendar.

    1. Login to Outlook.com
    2. Click settings then View all outlook settings
    3. On Calendar tab click View then uncheck "Turn on the Birthday Calendar"
    4. Click "Save".

If you have an important birthday reminder and you need to turn on back your birthday calendar then you can follow these steps.

    1. Login to Outlook.com
    2. Click settings then View all outlook settings
    3. On Calendar tab click View then check "Turn on the Birthday Calendar"
    4. Click "Save".

To add a new birthday. Go to https://outlook.live.com/calendar on Birthday click "...(three dots) / more options" then click "New Birthday".

I hope this will help. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

    Hi Elemenophy,

I am Rodel, an independent advisor, and I would like to help you to resolve your issue.

You can turn off the birthday notification one by one.

    Here are the steps.

    1. Login to Outlook.com
    2. At the bottom of the page, select Calendar, to go to Calendar.
    3. In the Birthday calendar, at the right pane double-click the birthday you want to edit.
    4. Next to Remind me, choose "Never". Now close the event window. Outlook.com automatically saves your changes.

I hope this will help. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.
