One user gets connected to a rogue DNS when they log in

Hello,

I am currently having an issue where one user in our office seems to get connected to a Connection-Specific DNS Suffix that is not apart of our network whenever she logs in daily. I also notice her IP configuration will be set to obtain automatically rather than a static. I am easily able to reset their static IP and they immediately get connected back to our DNS server whenever this occurs.

My question is do we think this is a DNS server issue on our side or some other outsider variable causing this?

This is happening on both of this user's workstations, maybe account issue?

Kind of strange that your office does not use a DHCP server, and even stranger is that since you don't that there's a rogue DHCP server on this network. May need to find and block or eliminate this DHCP source.
