Having an issue with onedrive on windows server 2019. I have had this installed before and working , however it has recently stopped.
OneDrive in constantly saying that the user needs to sign in. If the user then attempts to sign in, OneDrive closes then reopens in the same state. No error or event logs are recoded.
I have tried this with single user installations, Multi user installation. Installed from the Microsft 365 Pro Plus installation, with and without RDP server installed. Freshly installed server both updated and not.
Anyone else having a similar issue or know whats going on?

Having the same issue
Spent hours on the phone with Microsoft
Must be an issue with latest OneDrive package
Hopefully the can sort out patch
Currently with Senior Engineer with Microsoft
If anyone finds a solutions please post on this thread.

I am experiencing the same problem, but I am not connected to a server. My personal OneDrive has no problem logging in and syncing. OneDrive for business will not sign in and does not sync. However, I can access my OneDrive and SharePoint files from within any Office app such as Word.
This began after resetting my system and re-installing Office.

So we manage to sign in all users after latest update. After installing and rebooting we tried to sign in problem users and we did it. if any user couldnt sign in we wait like 10 or 20 minutes blue onedrive turn off by himself and we managed to sign in. so no problem users left and everything works fine with us.
p.s still noticed strange thing: we tried to log in summone blue onedrive before grey onedrive autolaunch and we managed to log in.

You can try the following method.
Update the following registry key.
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\OneDrive"
Value Name: DisableFileSyncNGSC
Set Value to 0
Then restart Onedrive.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately that has not resolved the issue. Same behaviour.
signing in with personal Microsoft account works fine. Any business account fails.

We are having exactly the same issue as described on 2 x new fresh Server 2019 installs. We can confirm that OneDrive for Business accounts will not sign in but a OneDrive Personal will sign in fine
We have an existing Server 2019 with users logged in OneDrive Business fine however trying to sign a new user in gives the same issue as described above
