Microsoft Bookings - Remove Bookable Status

We have a client that users Bookings and he wants to remain an administrator and see appointments being scheduled but doesn't want his name appearing as an option when his clients are booking appointments. We have set all his availability to never so they are unable to book an appointment with him but is there a way to stop his name from showing up at all during the drop down when setting appointments? His user has green "bookable" status and there appears no way to change this. Thanks -- Bob

I am having the same issue. I have several people who are not bookable but I don't want to remove them.

You can go to the specific Staff member and change their hours to have all days OFF. This way they do not show in the list of staff available when Booking.

There's some weird thinking going on with Bookings.

There needs to be a way to administrate Bookings pages. The most obvious way would be for the global admin to be able to remove themselves from bookable staff lists while still retaining admin privileges on the Bookings page.

Come on MS, this is day 1 stuff. I'm not sure why you guys are trying to do this the way you are, just make it easy to administer.

This is a dealbreaker and a must have feature! We need administrators for Exchange resource rooms with calendars as staff in Bookings for booking rooms, but administrators appear as status bookable which cannot be changed and appears in Outlook Booking page calendar.

You should be able to set which "staff" calendars show up in the Booking calendar.

"Staff" because this would be really useful for room management also for buildings and now it's a kind of a hack.

Quick fix would be to set a default filter for Booking calendar in exchange to show only wanted staff calendars.

This answer doesn't help at all. For a start, there is no way to set days to OFF, only CLOSED. And that has no effect whatsoever on the publicly displayed page. This is basic stuff; I'm giving up on Bookings and trying a different solution instead.

Late to the party, but I have the solution.

New to Bookings, my colleague created the Bookings page/site and we wanted me to assist. Adding me as an Administrator in the staff section did nothing. Even though I received the welcome email, it said I didn't have permission to view the calendar.

I had our IT Manager use this method in Power Shell to give me proper Admin access: https://www.reddit.com/r/Office365/comments/tn7kz0/bookings_access_for_admins/

After that, I had full view and edit access to the page. My colleague was able to completely delete me from staff so that I am no longer bookable or viewable on the calendar, but I can still access the Booking page and manage/edit everything.

I may have found a work around for my team. As the administrator for the calendar, with two sales reps who are getting "booked" for sales meetings, I should not be appearing.

When you go to the main page of the Booking Calendar, you see the menu options on the left side, which include Calendar, Booking Page, Customers, Staff, Services, Business Information.

Click on Services
Select the Services you want to remove the admin from appearing as an option from
Click Edit (pencil appears when you hover over the service)
Assign Staff
Select only the staff that should appear as options for that service (I deselected myself the admin)
Save changes

That worked for my company's Booking page, I stopped appearing. If you just remove the Admin's availability as "Closed", they still appear, but as unavailable, which does not look very professional, imo. Wish there was a way to remove it as a default.

Did this really solve your issue? I did the same, but MS Bookings keeps assigning myself and another Admin as "Staff", when the actual Sales Rep is not available...

I don't know we have an option to overcome that. Let me see if there is any workaround available for this scenario. If nothing is available, you may consider filing an uservoice - so that it can be considered to be implemented.
