Thank you for providing that information.

As we’ve checked further on this concern, the Outlook platform that has the option to display an alternate calendar which on your case would be the Persian Calendar is the Outlook desktop version for Windows and this feature is unavailable as of this time in Outlook for Android.

We know that you’d want to get this straighten out and what we can recommend is to submit feedback about the option to be able to add a local calendar in the Outlook for Android app through its Suggest a feature option. This will help other users as well that are having the same concern. Our engineers and developers will review this entry and may have it included in future updates. For the steps and sample screenshot of how it looks like within the app, you may check here.

Or have it submitted via the UserVoice Forums page for Outlook. This will be checked by our engineers to include it in future updates once they’ve evaluated it. To post this on the page, you may click here. You may need to sign up for an account there to be able to share your idea and this would let other users to upvote the new entry that you’ll be adding.

Should you have other concerns that we can assist you with, don’t hesitate to let us know.

thanks for your quick reply. As you see in windows version of outlook calendar, regional date and calendar is set and i can add event directly with according to persian calendar. probably you can't recognize the names and dates  since they are in persian language,   but in android version there is no persian calendar with local setting available and event adding, is a 2 step job. first i have to check out and transform persian date to  gregorian calendar , then add event to resulted day.

    Hi amirgoudarzi1,

Thanks for reaching out here at the Microsoft Community Forum.

We got your concern about checking the option to change the Outlook calendar and match it to the Persian calendar. Let’s work on this together and we’ll assist you in the best way we can.

Based on the given information, we’ve looked at this in the Outlook calendar for Android and we’re unable to see an option or settings to change the region or locality from the said calendar. However, to get additional clarification of the situation, may we ask for screenshots of how you are adding events in Gregorian calendar? This would help us check and verify this concern accordingly. The same goes with a screenshot of the calendar on your Surface Pro for comparison purposes. If you’ll see any personal information that may be included in the image, you may remove it first.

Let us know if you may have any clarifications with this.
