"Insert Object" Tab Missing in Outlook 365

I am baffled as to where the "insert tab" went on the new Outlook 365

When emailing I like to take a quick screen clipping using this feature to illustrate to the recipient of what I am referring.

This tab is now completely gone. Is it under a new name? Do I have to customize the ribbon or task bar, or is just not available anymore?

All of the searches I've done refer how to find it in the older version of outlook so it is unhelpful.

Hopefully I can get some updated information posting this as a new question.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

    Thank you for the response.

I was actually able to figure it out with one of my co-workers.

I guess I wasn't very clear in what I was trying to express. As mentioned I did not have the insert tab you referred to in your answer, and it was frustrating to keep having people circle the tab trying to show me where it is supposed to be. Which also means I would not have been able to provide you with a screen shot as requested, as there was no insert tab to work with.

I did find out what the problem was though, and hope that anyone coming across this issue will find this post helpful. Or you will have an additional question to ask them to help troubleshoot in the future.

Apparently the insert tab is not part of the ribbon when you are replying to/forwarding an email directly in the outlook "preview display".

You must make sure that your reply or forward "pops out" to it's own window to get all the tabs, including of course insert.

Again, thank you for taking the time to help! I appreciate your willingness to assist.

    Hi Holly,

May I know which Outlook 365 client version are you using, please provide us with the detailed information about this, see About Office: What version of Office am I using?

However, I have tested on my side using the latest Outlook 365 Current Channel version 2112 (Build 14729.20260) can insert an object, by click Object on the Insert tab. See Insert an object in Word or Outlook

Here is the screenshot for your reference:

Moreover, if you can't see Object option please provide us with the detailed screenshot about the issue for further analysis.

    Your understanding is highly appreciated.

    Best regards,

    Shyamal
