Hello,

I recently updated Microsoft 365, and the Suggested Meeting Times feature I would frequently use in Outlook when scheduling meetings has disappeared. I have tried all of the suggestions on how to add it back in and have not been successful. I am hoping you have some insight.

Thank you,

    1. From the Start menu, type regedit.exe in the search box, and then press Enter.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    2. In Registry Editor, navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Options\Calendar
    3. Right click on Calendar and select New DWord (32-bit) value.
    4. Set the Name to ShowLegacyRoomFinder and press Enter.
    5. Right click the new key, select Modifyand set the Value data to 1.
    6. Close Registry Editor and restart Outlook.

    Hi everyone,

Recently faced the same issue after updating office 365.

    Here's a work around:

    1. Open Oultook & Go to File
    2. Go to Manage Add-ins
    3. Go to All add-ins and select install the 'FindTime' add-in

This has an even better UI than the original default version!!

I have this same problem. Over the last 2.5 years, when I do an update, the suggested time feature disappears and then I have to call tech support to get it fixed. I recently did and update and it again disappeared. I do not have a recent screenshot of what it looks like but found this on the internet which is what it looked like before the update. After the update, it looks like the second picture. In the first example, Room finder and suggested times for people invited to the meeting both show along the right hand side of the screen. After the update, only room finder is available.

How can I get this to come back and stay so I don't have to keep calling for help after a software update?

So from what I gather on this response is that Microsoft Removed the ability to search for open time and "Room Finder" now only searches for Physical rooms for the meeting to be held in?   My organization now only sees rooms and users have lost the ability to find quickly open times for all attendees so that there is no overlap in scheduling meetings.

Thanks so much for this! It is a great alternative and still in the active screen. I wish I didn't have to click on the add in to activate it and there was a way to just make it always active every new meeting invite created.

Other than the loss of doing everything in one screen, my second challenge is reducing movement and clicks with the wrist given arthritis and carpel tunnel, the less movement and clicks the better! So, having it auto active would be awesome! Is there a setting that can enable that?
